LED Therapy

Originally developed by NASA for plant growth this technology uses varying wavelengths to stimulate collagen & elastin, support hair growth, minimize redness, and treat acne. As an addon treatment, this therapy works in synergy with spa treatments to provide targeted stimulation of the deeper tissues preparing the skin for supportive therapies. Red is primarily used for anti-aging, while blue is used for acne treatment. LED is suitable for all skin types.

Dermaplaning

This is a procedure of exfoliating the outer layer of skin (epidermis) using a razor-edge tool (surgical blade) removing debris & fine hairs that can give your skin a “dull” appearance and/or block products from penetrating in to your skin. This is a great preparatory treatment for microneedling, a chemical peel, or a facial, or as a standalone treatment if you need mechanical exfoliation. This also can help your makeup appear smooth and flawless. The most common side effect is redness and increased sensitivity.

Diamond Microdermabrasion

Treatments use a diamond tip instrument to gently remove the outer layer of your skin. This is considered a mechanical exfoliant and is is an excellent way to remove debris in combination for treatments, or as a standalone treatment for at-home products. This procedure was exceedingly popular 10 years ago but with newer technology has lost popularity. However, this is still an excellent way to mechanically exfoliate your skin.

PRP

PRP is a form of regenerative medicine that harnesses the body’s power of self-healing. The plasma is the liquid portion of whole blood. It is composed largely of water and proteins, and it provides a medium for red blood cells, white blood cells and platelets to circulate through the body. Platelets, also called thrombocytes, are blood cells that cause blood clots and other necessary growth healing functions. Platelet activation plays a key role in the body's natural healing process.

PRP injections are prepared by taking anywhere from one to a few tubes of your own blood and running it through a centrifuge to concentrate the platelets. These activated platelets are then either injected directly into injured tissue or topically applied. This releases growth factors that stimulate and increase the number of reparative cells your body produces.
