CHEMICAL PEELS

Chemical peels are mixed acids that are applied to the skin and result in a chemical reaction that removes the outer layer of your skin leaving you with fresh new skin. This is a chemical exfoliant. In essence it is accelerating your skin’s life cycle by expediting the removal of the outer dead, damaged skin to allow the new undamaged skin in its place. Chemical peels are great bang for the buck however they require some downtime, post-procedure care, & must be approached with careful selection in darker skin types. Most peels have average 5 day peel time with the peak of the peel at Day 3.
